Boots No7 Redesign

No7 is one of the oldest and most prestigious make-up and skincare brands in the country and a key Boots range. This project involved redesigning the microsite to reflect their promotional and in-store material as well as making the most of the Boots.com template.

Project Details

  • Key colour swatches from the imagery allowed the text panels to stand out from the dark backgrounds
  • Key lifestyle photography allowed to shine, keeping close as possible to promotional and in-store material
  • Navigational images kept bright utilising the No7 gold and remained consistent across the site
  • Creative straplines were incorporated from the promotional material to maintain cross-media familiarity

Boots No7 Redesign

After a relaunch in 2008, Boots.com decided to lead a refresh in image design to better use the space and lifestyle imagery afforded to it. In leading this project I focused on using space creatively, allowing the assets space to breathe and thus allowing the message to read more clearly.

Project Details

  • Key Boots colours were maintained in text to keep brand consistency
  • A text panel on the right provided more space for product and lifestyle imagery as well as brand identity
  • A style guide was created so best practice was maintained
  • After implementation both sales and conversion increased and the site received much better feedback in regards to it's clarity and ease of navigation
